Trawnik Producent PLFA SuperFinal VIII will be aired 'as live' on Eurosport 2 HD one day after it is played. The broadcast will take place on Monday, July 15 at 22:00 (Central European time). SuperFinal VIII, to be played on July 14 at the National Stadium in Warsaw, will pit the Warsaw Eagles against the Wrocław Giants, and will be taped in HD with 15 cameras. The game will be the second Polish final to be shown across Europe, following last year's NAC PLFA SuperFinal VII.
“NAC PLFA SuperFinal VII was a great success, television included,” commented PLFA President Jędrzej Stęszewski. “We hope that the game that will crown this year's Topliga champion will draw even more attention, not just in Poland, but worldwide, and we are excited that the standard of the year's best game will be matched by the quality of the broadcast.”
For those who can't wait to see the game on Eurosport, or for those who live in areas not covered by the network, a live broadcast will be available in Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia through the Internet at sport.tvp.pl. The show will begin at 16:20 on Sunday, July 14 (Central European time). That feed will be the same one beamed through the Polish television network TVP Sport, and will utilize 15 cameras in HD. The game will be available 'on-demand' later at sport.tvp.pl.
Both networks are highly successful in their respective markets. Eurosport HD is the high-definition simulcast of traditional Eurosport. Eurosport 2, launched in 2009, reaches 62 million households in 18 languages across 51 countries. TVP Sport has an audience of 13.7 million people (5.5 million households) within the Polish market.
