Warsaw Sharks 28, Kozły Poznań 14 (in Poznań)

The Warsaw Sharks recorded their fourth consecutive victory over Kozły Poznań on Saturday, defeating the home team 28-14 to push their record to 3-0. Mateusz Poneta scored twice for the Sharks, while Luke Zetazate threw for three scores and ran for another in a first half in which all of the game's points were scored. The Sharks are the lone remaining unbeaten team in the PLFA I North Division, a game ahead of Kozły and the Wyszków Rhinos in the standings.

The Sharks opened the game aggressively with an onside kick that they successfully recovered and kept up that tone throughout the first half. Zetazate pushed the ball outside to his receivers, and it paid off on Warsaw's second drive, which ended with a 5-yard Poneta touchdown catch. Jan Omelańczuk made it 14-0 with a 45-yard touchdown reception, and Zetazate ran it in shortly thereafter to push the lead to 20 points. Kozły fought back with a pair of touchdowns to get back to within a single score, before Poneta scored the game's final touchdown on a 12-yard catch.

Krakow Kings 26, Łódzkie Wilki 0 (in Krakow)

The Krakow Kings made short work of the visiting Łódzkie Wilki on Sunday, scoring on each of their first half possessions to take a commanding lead en route to a 26-0 victory. Filip Mościcki threw three touchdown passes for the Kings, who now sit alone without a loss atop the PLFA I South Division standings. Four different players found the end zone for the winning team.

Dariusz Nizioł and Beniamin Iwanicki had long touchdown receptions to put the Kings up 13-0, and a 1-yard plunge by Marcin Masłoń made it 20-0 at halftime. Łukasz Korpak's 20-yard touchdown catch completed Mościcki's hat trick as well as the scoring. The Wilki had a shot at avoiding the shutout on the game's final drive, but they came up just short of the end zone on the last play before time expired. The Wilki, who have now lost three straight to the Kings, fell to 1-2.

Silesia Rebels 26, Warsaw Dukes 20 (in Katowice)

The Silesia Rebels bounced back from their first defeat of the year on Sunday, sending the visiting Warsaw Dukes to their second consecutive 26-20 defeat in the process. Beniamin Bołdys scored twice in the fourth quarter to give the Rebels enough points to hold off a late comeback bid by the Dukes. Warsaw has now lost back-to-back games for the first time in their history, and they sit a half-game back of Silesia in the race for the second PLFA I South Division playoff spot.

Jan Trojniak opened the scoring in spectacular fashion, running 75 yards after a short reception to put Silesia up 7-0. Konrad Paruszewski made it 13-0 at halftime with a 25-yard touchdown catch of his own. Avery Neloms, limited much of the afternoon by an ankle injury suffered in the first quarter, threw a pair of touchdown passes in the third quarter to level the score, but Bołdys plowed into the end from a yard out twice in the fourth quarter to restore the 13-point lead. The Dukes got a late to draw to within six points, but they were unable to recover the onside kick and the Rebels then ran out the clock.

AZS UWM Olsztyn Lakers 23, Bydgoszcz Archers 7 (in Olsztyn)

The AZS UWM Olsztyn Lakers got their first PLFA I victory on Sunday, taking of care of business against the winless Bydgoszcz Archers 23-7 in Olsztyn. The Lakers won the game in their own red zone, stopping three separate Archers forays deep into their defensive territory. The Archers remain without a victory halfway through their eight-game schedule, while the Lakers improved their record to 1-2.

Przemysław Mac scored on a 3-yard run in the first quarter to give the Lakers a 7-0 lead, and Patryk Rutkowski doubled the advantage with a 1-yard run in the second quarter. Jakub Kubacki took over the Bydgoszcz quarterback spot from Philip Villaneuva, who moved to cornerback for this matchup, and cut the gap to 14-7 with a 3-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Piotr Gołacki kicked a 42-yard field goal for Olsztyn in the fourth quarter, and Jamar Dials added an exclamation point with a 60-yard interception return for a score late in the game.
