At Wrocław Stadium on July 11, 2015, the two best teams in Poland will square off with the championship of the Polish League of American Football (PLFA) at stake. There are currently 8 teams from the PLFA's Topliga bidding for a spot in that title game, SuperFinal X. Following the regular season, the top four teams will advance to the semi-finals, to be played June 27-28. The winners will them meet in one of Europe's most modern stadiums, built for the Euro 2012 tournament.
The PLFA SuperFinal is a grand celebration of American football, and an opportunity for fun for the entire family. The game is played in the same style as the American Super Bowl. That means there will be cheerleading performances, a fantastic setting and atmosphere, competitions with great prizes and much more. Commentators, DJs, cheerleaders and the action on the field will all work the crowd into a frenzy. As usual, attending the game will be a safe and friendly event, enjoyed with fans from all over Poland as well as other countries in Europe.
At 3:00 PM the Wrocław Stadium promenade will turn into a football village, open for free entry to anyone holding a ticket. The theme of this year's SuperFinal pre-game events will be related to the World Games, which are coming to Wrocław in 2017. Fans will have an opportunity to try their hand at various sports that will comprise the games.
One of those sports will indeed be American football. Attendees will have the chance to put themselves into the players' shoes for a moment, trying on the uniform, throwing the football and meeting with members of the Polish National Team. Again, there will be competitions and prizes awarded, all amidst a scene of popular music and the scents of American culinary treats.
The game will kick off at 7:00 PM, and it will be preceded by a spectacular opening ceremony.
“We are delighted that this year's Topliga champion will be crowned in the heart of Lower Silesia,” said PLFA President Jędrzej Stęszewski. “Wrocław Stadium is a modern, multi-purpose facility that is the ideal arena for our jubilee SuperFinal. Two previous PLFA championships have been held in Wrocław. Since 2010, when the game was held at Oławka Stadium, American football in Poland has seen incredible growth in organizational terms and in the media. In 2010, just 20 teams competed on PLFA fields in two divisions; this year, 3800 players on 60 senior teams and 30 junior teams will compete in front of thousands of spectators at stadiums across Poland each weekend. Thanks to our cooperation with the Organizing Committee of the 2017 World Games, this year's football village on the stadium promenade will have a unique character. Fans will get the chance to become familiar with the sports that will occupy the arenas of Wrocław and Lower Silesia during the Games two years from now.”

Piotr Przygoński, President of the Organizing Committee for the 2017 Wrocław World Games, also commented, “American football's SuperFinal X at Wrocław Stadium will be a great promotion for what will happen in Wrocław in 2017 during the 10th edition of The World Games. Both football and other sports on the program for TWG2017 are growing rapidly. In Wrocław, we already have a football tradition that has resulted in a faithful group of fans. In the course of the tournament we will get to see how the Polish National Team stacks up against worldwide competition.”
“We are very happy that American football will take place at Wrocław Stadium,” added Robert Pietryszyn, President of Wrocław 2012, the management board of Wrocław Stadium, “because it confirms the versatility of the site. Wrocław Stadium is not just a soccer and concert facility, but also a conference center with numerous offices and services, a fitness center and, from now on, a host of Poland's most important game of American football.”
Ticket prices start at 20 PLN. In addition, discounts of up to 20% are available for families and organized groups.
